Silvania C. Tognetti
Partner
Lawyer with a great reputation and extensive experience in counselling companies in Corporate and Tax Law. Silvania has wide national and international recognition, being mentioned by Chambers & Partners Latin America & Global and LACCA Approved.
Silvania Tognetti is recognized for her legal knowledge and creativity in solutions for clients, characteristics that have being forged in her diversified background: as Public Attorney of the State of Rio de Janeiro (including representation of the State Taxpayers' Council), international tax consultancy company (PriceWaterHouse Coopers), investment bank (focused on financial products), in major law firms specialized in mergers and acquisitions (over more than ten years, with practice in corporate, contracts and tax law), Tax and Corporate Law stands (large and medium-sized); in large projects and the diversity of clients (large national and multinational companies).
Among her successes, she worked in international acquisitions, in M&A projects that led to the creation of giants in important sectors (beverages, petrochemicals, steel), acquisitions in specific sectors (internet, supermarkets, retail, steel), and in several corporate restructurings projects. She has sponsored legal and administrative proceedings involving over US$100 million, audited and managed several tax litigation portfolios resulting from acquisitions and reorganizations.
She holds a Ph.D. in Economic and Financial Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a master's degree in Tax Law from the Universidade Cândido Mendes (UCAM), in Rio de Janeiro. She is also a certified Trust Estate Planner – TEP by STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners – a global organization of English origin that qualifies and certifies professionals specialized in trusts, inheritances and succession planning).

Muriel Waksman
Partner
Lawyer specialized in Corporate Law, M&A and Contracts with experience in large and medium-sized firms. She worked on several corporate restructuring and M&A projects involving large national and international companies, participating in the preparation of large project contracts such as Share Purchase and Sale Agreements, Stock Options, Shareholders Agreements, Investment Agreements, Lease Agreements, Operations Financing, Machinery Supply Contracts, etc. She has also worked in the Capital Markets area and carried out academic research.
Muriel Waksman graduated from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Direito GV), holds a master's degree in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago in 2019. She is the author of the book “The limits to the Brazilian Securities' Exchange Commision (CVM) intervening power”, a reference work focused on the development of the Brazilian capital market and analysis of the different forms in which the CVM operates based on its history and influences.

David Damasio de Moura
Partner
Lawyer with experience in civil and tax law, having worked in large and medium-sized firms and companies.
David has experience in counselling companies, mainly in administrative and judicial tax litigation, representing national and multinational companies in the beverage, foreign trade, agribusiness, financial institutions, industry and trade sectors.
He has participated in the development of solutions for tax and regulatory consulting activities, especially in the field of telecommunications and foreign trade. He maintains a diversified performance in other areas of law, especially civil law, as in the drafting and review of real estate contracts, advisory and family litigation, succession, collection, consumer and contracts' execution.
He has structured new businesses, analyzing the fiscal aspects and impacts of the idealized business activities that included international investments.
David Damasio de Moura graduated from the São Bernardo do Campo Law School (FDSBC), has a specialization in Civil Procedural Law from the Dom Bosco University (UDB) and in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (IBET) and extension in Criminal Business Law from the Pontificia Catholic University (PUC-SP).

Eduardo Tognetti
Administrative Law Consultant
Professor of Administrative Law at Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU) and lawyer in a state owned entity. He holds a Ph.D. and a master's degree in Administrative Law from USP., is specialized in Administrative Law with PUC-SP and in Economic and Business Law with FGV-RJ.

Daniella Souza Eng
Tax and Litigation Law
Daniella has experience of approximately seven years in the tax area, having accumulated knowledge since the beginning of her career, both in judicial and administrative litigation, as well as in consultancy, in medium and large-sized firms.
She has a recent practice focused on strategic litigation, representing national and multinational companies from different economic segments, especially with financial institutions and automotive companies.
In administrative litigation, Daniella has experience in the defense of Notices of Infraction and conducts administrative procedures for the compensation/refund of taxes. In the consulting area, she advises on various matters, with experience in matters involving indirect taxes and customs regulations.
Daniella also has experience in inspection services, obtaining municipal, state and federal certificates, as well as tax audits and risk analysis.
Daniella graduated from Faculdade IBMEC Damásio in 2017.
